- Graduated from Design School Kolding.

- I have had a studio on Refshaleøen in Copenhagen for a number of years. There I was closely connected to, and part of, the art community "Kunst-Værftet".

The art

I get the inspiration for my paintings concretely from the surrounding nature in a combination with impressions from a pulsating and hectic city life. In this contrast-filled and energy-charged tension field, my images arise.

Strong opposites meet here -

​

harmonious color combinations adjoin concretely legible forms - lyrically coordinated color tones meet ongoing dynamic elements - the fabulous meets structure - light meets darkness - the chaotic meets calm - the abstract meets the recognizable and concrete.

Nature and culture merge and create in my work a new unforeseen whole and diverse reality - which invites you inside. 

 

The pictures are acrylic on canvas - layer upon layer, primarily acrylic paint, spray and marker.
